How I Work...

I help you come home to your inner wisdom through a modern, embodied approach—combining psychodynamic depth work, somatic awareness, relational exploration, and spiritual integration.

How Psychodynamic and Somatic Therapy Work

I believe in creating lasting transformation—not just quick fixes or temporary symptom relief. We are beautifully complex beings, and the deeper work unfolds when you give yourself time, presence, and the courage to explore what’s been long held inside. While stepping into this territory can feel vulnerable, when you’re willing to enter the uncomfortable places with empathy and guidance, profound clarity and freedom become possible.

I bring a heart-based, empathic, gentle, and an engaging style to working with my clients. I value establishing trust and a strong therapeutic alliance in which we can dive deep into places within you to uncover underlying causes of your struggles and help you move towards emotional freedom and fulfillment. Some of my strengths are: listening closely and intentionally, sharing insights with you that are illuminating, identifying patterns and themes, and asking questions that help get you closer to your own answers.

I tailor my approach to your unique needs and style, blending psychodynamic wisdom with somatic attunement, relational presence and a touch of transpersonal perspective.

Psychodynamic therapy for self understanding and emotional insight

Somatic

Do you know that our trauma, ego conditioning, patterns, and anxieties are coded in our body? Our body also has the innate wisdom to release and heal these conditionings when drawing our attention to where we need to heal. Soma means body as experienced from within. With this work, we look at the body’s wisdom and listen to its language to help you find greater freedom from stuck energy that may be holding you back and move you towards greater freedom of expression.

Relational therapy focused on healing through therapeutic relationship

Transpersonal

While in this work, we look closely at the ego structure (personality, temperament, motivations, drives, conditioning), we can also go above and beyond ego. The spiritual and metaphysical layers of your being and experience are welcome in our work to foster a deeper embodiment of your soul and human potential.

Psychodynamic

The goal of therapy is to instigate new thinking about ourselves and our struggles. I will be closely listening to themes, wishes, emotions, and conflicts that are yet to be unveiled in your stories and what may be outside your awareness. This process of uncovering typically leads to a sense of relief, a better understanding of yourself, and new ways of being in your life.

Relational

The relationship between us is an incredibly powerful vehicle that can facilitate long-lasting change and transformation. Your curiosity, fondness, disappointment, anger, and all other feelings that arise towards me may be connected to some of the struggles you may be facing in life and are essential to explore in your journey of growth and emotional freedom. I will be listening to these and utilizing the relational elements that unfold between us towards your growth and freedom.
